Diego Vega was born in Montevideo (Uruguay), and currently lives in Quito (Ecuador). He started as a DJ in 2002, at the beginning throwing parties under the promoter name Mindsounds. Later on he was a resident at Club Zu and a regular of Purpura Lounge, while in the present he is a regular in the lineup of Club Blues and other events. He is the manager and co-founder of the Mindsounds digital label. The South American label is characterized by tech house and minimal techno, and it acts as a platform for its 3 founding artists, but it's also a space to showcase and support talented upcoming local and international artists who collaborate with the label. Besides producing original tracks and remixes for his own label, Diego has also produced original tracks and remixes for Bosphorus Underground Recordings.
